INDIAN STUDENTS ASSOCIATION
SOCIAL | CULTURE | SERVICE
Established in 1954, the Indian Students Association (ISA) at The University of Texas at Austin is an umbrella organization that aims to connect all South Asian organizations on campus and hold large scale event for the UT community.
Throughout the year, we plan Jeena, a national South Asian Acapella Competition, Taal, a dance competition between UT's South Asian dance teams, and Food for Thought, where we serve free Indian food to students during finals week.
This year we held the first ever South Asian Olympics with 7 other South Asian organizations. In the future, we hope to expand this event to all students and engage in community service.
